I was born in Pontianak, Kalimantan in 1950. My entire family later moved and settled in Bandung. This is where I spent my years until after high school. This is where I learned to paint and craft. I later moved to Los Angeles to attend school at FIDM. I married my husband in 1984 and my children were born shortly after. Since I had a family to care for, I did not continue a career in art or design but I continued to create. I find ways to be creative in my family home, with my children, and my late husband, in any little way that I can. However, my first passion is painting and now that I have more time nearing retirement age, I am interested in painting once more.
